Mountain View Assisted Living was established in 2001, and is owned and operated by Diann Ward, who has been a home health care provider since 1982, and a EMT ambulance attendent since 1990. She is a founding member of the Vershire Volunteer Fire Department and the Vershire Fast Squad, and has served as the President of both organizations. She is trained in CPR, and to take care of medical emergencies until transport arrives. She has also been trained to set up a "landing zone" for the helicopter from the Dartmouth Medical Center. |

Housed in a modern duplex set in green rolling pastures, we have six light, airy bedrooms, and a large common room which looks out on our outstanding view. Our goal is to provide our residents with an atmosphere as close to a home as possible, and we encourage them to bring furnishings, pictures and other personal belongings for their own private rooms |

We Have a nurse available to provide nursing overview, make assessments of each resident, oversee the administration of medications, and coordinate care with physicians. |

All meals are prepared in our own kitchen and served in our well appointed and bright dinning room overlooking our deck. |

We also offer daytime eldercare for families who need some time away from the ordeal of caring for sick and elderly friends or relatives. We provide them with the same conveniences as our full-time residents, prepare their meals and snacks, and offer rides and activities. |
